Romy Schneiders Jahre in Frankreich möchte dieses zum 25. Todestag der Ikone des europäischen Films erschienene, optisch vielversprechende DVD-Set in Erinnerung rufen. 1969 kehrte sie nach einem zweijährigen Aufenthalt in Berlin endgültig nach Frankreich zurück, um mit Alain Delon "Swimmingpool" zu drehen, der sie an die Spitze des französischen Star-Kinos brachte. In den 13 Jahren bis zu ihrem Tod drehte sie dort 27 Filme und verdiente sich den Ruf einer groÃen Charakterdarstellerin.
Umso gröÃer ist die Ernüchterung darüber, dass sich in der Box gerade mal zwei Filme finden lassen, wovon der eine nicht in der französischen Wahlheimat der Diva gedreht wurde, sondern in Italien. ...
