RYANAIR chief Michael O'Leary has let fly again -- this time aiming a broadside at "hairy, sandal-wearing environmentalists", weak politicians and the middle class who try to assuage guilt by taking up green issues.
And he says the growing move to target air travel for green taxes is wrong-headed.
"Why are airlines being picked on? [It's because] the airlines are run by a bunch of puddings who are terrified of taking on the environmental headbangers.''
O'Leary says his "farting" horses and cattle at his farm near Mullingar, Co Westmeath produce a lot of hot air and emissions.
