It's already 2007 for Chevy's Tahoe: a new style, a new chassis and "best yet" bragging launches GM's full-size SUVs forward.(TOWGOER)

In recent years, when automotive companies have made a bigger model introduction, they've helped define its newness with a model year designation that is 12-months-or-so ahead of the calendar. Such is the case of the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, which came off the assembly lines in the first quarter of 2006.

It takes either a new product or one that is significantly reworked to pull it off, however. Is the new Tahoe deserving of its flash-forward marketing or deserving of its "best yet" tag line?
